DTG® 3000 Dilithium Transcoding Gateway
The DTG 3000 Multimedia Gateway Family provides the multimedia solution for cellular, IP, and PSTN convergence as networks evolve towards the IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS).
The DTG 3000 Multimedia provides real-time transcoding, proxy functions for call signalling, command & control, and voice and video transcoding between multimedia systems protocols including 3G-324M/ H.324M, ITU-T H.323 and the IETF SIP.
The DTG 3000 supports all 3G multimedia applications and provides transcoding tailored to end-terminals such as mobile phones, PDAs, and IP terminals. The DTG supports a variety of voice and video coding standards and connects end-terminals on circuit switched, packet switched networks, wireless networks and the PSTN.
The DTG patented technologies enable rapid session setup, minimal media delays and skews, while ensuring the widest interoperability and unparalleled user experience and media quality.
Scalability
The DTG 3008 Model scales to 480 channels. The DTG 3021 Model scales to 1,440 channels/ sessions.
